Moreover, his solo career has taken him to prestigious stages worldwide. For example, he offered historic recitals in Vienna and Bratislava in 2010. Specifically, these concerts celebrated the Spanish Presidency of the European Union. Currently, he shares his mastery as a professor. Notably, he teaches at the Musical Arts Madrid Academy and the Musikhochschule Basel in Switzerland.

Since then, Zayda has met him at several concerts and masterclasses across Spain. On every single occasion, Kaunus has proudly provided his personalized “Pastrana” bench.
